It was very good to visit Denbigh in North Wales and
Blackburn to see old and make new friends. To raise an awareness of the plight
of children in crisis in the Holy Land is our priority and it was heartening
that so many showed an interest. With many, many children around the world
living in crisis with poor medical and educational facilities it is maybe difficult
to discern who we should support. The children of the Holy Land suffer
particularly because of the on-going violence, endemic poverty and religious
tensions that exist in this troubled area. We feel that good education and good
medical care are essential if ever there is to be any hope of a peaceful
future. We stand by these children and offer care and a hope that so many in
other parts of the world take for granted.
We will, over the next two months, be giving talks on Holy
Island and in Coventry, Durham, South Wales, Blackburn and Berwick upon Tweed.
