I am reminded of just how proud I am of the young people I work with and those with whom I have worked. Today I was invited by a young man to have a meal with him near to his home in Hebron. A very good meal, but so much more importantly an opportunity to have a ‘man to man’ chat with the person I have watched grow into a man from a boy. He has had not an easy life and to see the boy turn into the man with determination, strength and courage has been a wonderful privilege. He is by no means the only one. Some have gone off to study medicine in Russia and Venezuela, others to university or to vocational training and into good jobs. My heart is full of pride for them as they go into their adult lives.
